Purpose:

After a new portal account is created, a welcome email will be sent containing a link that expires in 24 hours. If the account registration is not completed within that time frame, a new welcome email must be sent. This article is designed to guide DataBank portal users on how to resend the welcome email link so that new users can complete their account registration.


Prerequisites: 

  • Must be an existing authorized user
  • Must be an Admin to be able to resend the welcome email
  • The user's role (Admin, Support, etc) must be selected prior to resending the welcome email


Process:

  • Navigate over to https://support.databank.com/login 
  • From the "Home page" using the left pane, scroll down and click on "My Account"
  • Click on "Manage Users"
  • Locate the user and click on the "Edit Button" (if you have a long list of users, you can click on the "Filter" box to narrow down your search
  • Click "Resend the Welcome Email"
  • A green notification popup box will appear on the top right corner letting you know that the welcome email was successfully sent to the user.
